Regulations

Under the Control of Asbestos Regulations it is the duty holders responsibility to comply with the law. They must inform anyone who may come into contact with any asbestos containing materials. Hence the need for asbestos inspections now!

All ASA surveyors are certified to P402 level as a minimum and are audited on a regular basis. • Ascertain if there are any Asbestos Containing Materials (A.C.M.s) on the premises.
• Determine the type and condition of any such Asbestos materials.
• Presume materials contain Asbestos unless there is strong evidence to suggest otherwise.
• Assess the risk of disturbance/exposure of any Asbestos Containing Materials.
• Prepare and implement a written plan on how the risks are to be managed.
• Monitor, review, and update the Asbestos management plan periodically.
